1. Who we are

MatchScoreAI provides statistical probability analyses of football matches. We do not offer betting or gambling services.

2. Data we collect

Account data: full name, email address, date of birth, password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text), the moment you accepted these terms, account creation date and last login.

Usage data you create: the match picks you save, with the percentages and the date of saving.

Technical data: your IP address is processed briefly to protect the service against abuse (rate limiting); it is not stored in a database.

Visit statistics: we may use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that counts visits in aggregate without cookies and without storing IP addresses or other personal data.

Preferences stored in your browser: your language, your age confirmation and whether you closed an advertisement (see the Cookie policy).

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

To create and run your account and show your saved picks (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To verify that you are 24 or older, because the site shows advertising intended for adults (legal obligation and legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

To keep the service secure and prevent misuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decisions about you.

4. Advertising

The site shows banner and video advertisements, including from licensed betting operators. Advertisements are only loaded after you confirm that you are 24 or older.

Advertisements are currently served from our own server; we do not share your personal data with advertisers and we do not use third-party tracking cookies. If you click an advertisement, the advertiser's own privacy policy applies on their website.

5. Who receives your data

Our hosting provider [name, country/EU], which stores the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

Football data is obtained from an external data provider; no personal data is sent to them.

Authorities, only where we are legally required to do so.

6. How long we keep it

Account data and saved picks: for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account yourself at any time on the My account page; it is removed immediately. If you ask us by email, we delete it within 30 days.

Login sessions expire after 30 days.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to privacy@matchscoreai.com; we respond within one month.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), in Turkey the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK, kvkk.gov.tr), or the authority in your own EU country.

8. Age restriction

The service is intended only for people aged 24 and over. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we delete it.

9. Security

Passwords are stored as scrypt hashes, sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies, and connections are encrypted with HTTPS.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; we will inform registered users of important changes.
